Today is the first day of a three day series of shots that I need to take. Pete and I watched the video on how to give the shot to make sure we administered it correctly. The intention was for me to give myself the shot. Once we prepared the shot with the liquid and cleansed my stomach area I chickened out on giving it to myself.
Pete gave me the shot with no problem. He was a tad nervous at first because he hates needles. The needle went into my stomach quite smoothly. The shot did not hurt at all. After a couple of minutes the shot area stung like crazy. The stinging lasted for about 30 minutes, which I thought was a long time.
